Events - Privacy Policy
BIS events are designed for our community and thus require registration to ensure a proper planning.
Personal Data processed for the sign-up and the event includes:
- Your name to identify you further.
- Your email address for potential communication. We made the email address mandatory for the sign-up to identify duplicates and enable the response confirmation for your convenience.
- When participating in the event, please note that BIS marketing department will occasionally take photos and videos you might appear in.
When completing this sign-up form, you are giving your consent to BIS to process your data for the following:
- Communication with you in advance to the event, e.g. regarding short-notice changes.
- Communication with you after the event, e.g. regarding lost and found items or to share a summary and review of the event with attendees.
- Where necessary we will have entrance control for registered guests only.
- To properly plan the event - this will be done based on the number of guests you are signing up for.
- BIS marketing department will occasionally take photos and videos of the event and use these for internal as well as external marketing purposes. In most cases individuals will not be identifiable and names not be added to publications without prior separate consent.
Your data will be kept confidential and only shared in the extent required with the staff members assigned with the tasks above. Your data will be deleted within a month once the event is held.
