IB Career-related Programme (IBCP)

The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) is an educational programme in Grades 11 and 12 offered as an alternative to the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme). It is a framework of international education that incorporates the vision and educational principles of the IB into a unique programme specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning.  The IBCP’s flexible educational framework allows schools to meet the needs, backgrounds and contexts of students. Each school creates its own distinctive version of the IBCP.

At BIS we have undertaken extensive consultation in order to plan a programme that will meet the needs of a broad spectrum of students, and that will also benefit from the unique nature of Munich itself. Our programme has been designed to enable students to choose from a number of different pathways and be able to extend or limit the number of courses taken to suit individual needs.
