Behind the Scenes at BIS - Open Days at City Campus & in Haimhausen

Five Open Days total between the City Campus in Munich and the Haimhausen Campus – Register now online!
Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) invites prospective parents and their children to five specialised Open Days in 2019 and 2020. International families – expats – and German families are all welcome. The Open Days offer an opportunity to take a very personal look behind the scenes at the IB World School, which currently attracts approximately 1,200 students from 56 nations and 44 native languages under the motto "Believe. Inspire. Succeed."

The City Campus at Leopoldstraße 208 in Munich-Schwabing will open its doors twice: on Tuesday, 26th November, 2019 and Tuesday, 21st January, 2020 from 13:00 until 15:00. The programme will commence with an introduction from the Head of School, Dr. Chrissie Sorenson, and City Campus Principal, Dr. April Yetsko. The event will also include a school tour led by student ambassadors, a meeting with the Parent Teacher Organisation (PTO) and finally a session for any further questions. The BIS City Campus first opened in February 2016 and now accommodates Kindergarten with children as young as three and the Primary School with grades 1-5.

The Haimhausen Campus, which offers Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School with grades 6-12, will also be holding its doors open. The Primary School programme will take place on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at 09:30 and in the Secondary School on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at 10:30 (duration approx. 2 hours each). In order to get to know the entire school on a particularly colourful, intercultural day, BIS is also combining the "International Festival" with an Open Day: Sunday, 17th May, 2020 at 10:45.

"We are delighted to be able to present prospective parents and their children with two campuses, a modern learning environment and associated pedagogical guidelines, our values and our international spirit," says Dr. Chrissie Sorenson, Head of School and Executive Board  of the Bavarian International School gAG (BIS).

To take part in an "Open Day" it is essential to register in advance using an online form on the BIS website: https://www.bis-school.com/admissions/open-days.
