Admissions Process
Enrolment priorities
BIS was founded first and foremost as an international school serving a globally mobile community of families. These expats (specialists, executives, managers) enrich the Munich region and, through our offer as an IB World School, their non-German-speaking children can seamlessly integrate into a comparable school system.
We ask for your understanding that we have to put applying students on the waiting list if there are no more free spaces available. Furthermore, we cannot make binding statements with regards to timeframes, as changes can occur due to the enrolment priorities listed below.
1. Children of expat families will be given top priority for enrolment as they have few other options in the area.
2. Next, siblings of existing BIS families will be considered.
3. After this, we will consider local German families.
