Prospective Students

The prospect of transfering to a new school can be frightening and exciting at the same time. What will the teachers and students be like at the new school? Will you be able to find new friends? What about the fact that you don't speak any German? Will the programme be too difficult? Will it be too easy? On the other hand, wouldn't it be great to be just an hours north of the Alps! And to live in a cosmopolitan city like Munich, where you can get around just about everywhere by public transportation? Go iceskating in at the rink at the Olympia Center, bicycle everywhere on the great network of bike paths around Munich... 

We want you to know that the exciting part far outweighs the frightening part. Our Mission is to inspire and challenge you as a caring international community to achieve excellence, assume responsiblity, and pursue lifelong learning. This mission is not just the words on the mulititude of framed mission statements that hang everywhere in the school. This statement truly informs everything that we do, and we really strive to fulfill this mission every day. Which means, our caring international community is going to help you learn your way around, settle in, and make freinds. It means that there will be an orientation when you first get here, to introduce you to all of your teachers and classmates. It means that our co-curricular programme coordinators are gong to make sure that you know about all the great activities after school, all the teams and clubs, and will invite you to get involved and participate.

We will inspire you and challenge you with a demanding academic programme, and if you are eager and willing to really achieve your potential, you will get lots of support and encouragement to do so from our teachers and principal. During the admissions process, we want you to ask all the questions you need to, in order to really understand what our academic programme entails, and exactly what the demands will be.
