Dear Parents,

Thank you for visiting our website and showing interest in the Bavarian International School. Selecting the right school for your child can be a daunting exercise, particularly if you are moving to Germany for the first time. This website is designed to give you an insight into our school with the hope that it can help you to make an informed decision about the next step in your child’s education. 

Our school is situated in beautiful park like setting with fields and woods surrounding the school premises. The focal point of the school is the Haimhausen Schloss, a centuries old castle which creates a very unique learning environment. 

The learning that takes place at the Bavarian International School (BIS) is ever mindful of the diverse needs of our student population which represents more than 45 different nationalities. We offer the security of established structure and curriculum, combined with contemporary, dynamic and innovative educational practice focused on the development of the whole child. Integral to this approach to learning and teaching is our use of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and the Diploma Programme (IBDP).
