1.1. REGISTRATION FEE €1,000

The Registration fee payment is due upon successful registration and is non-refundable except when the student cannot be accepted by the school. The Re-Registration fee of €500 is due each year in March upon re-registration. Payment of this fee does not assure acceptance of the child by the school.

1.2 ANNUAL TUITION FEE

1.3 ENTRANCE FEE

The Entrance fee is used for capital development and for improvement of the school's facilities. The Entrance Fee schedule in effect during a child's initial year of attendance at BIS remains applicable for that child and is unaffected by subsequent changes to the schedule. The Entrance Fee is €4,000 per child upon initial admission and an additional €2,000 per child in each of the following two school years totaling €8,000.

1.4 TRANSPORTATION FEE

This fee depends upon distance from the school, corresponding fees are given on a separate schedule. The bus contract is for a complete year, no pro-ration.

1.6 SCHOOL FEE REDUCTION (Tuition Fee + Entrance Fee)

• 25% Reduction for the third child enrolled at BIS
  50% Reduction for the fourth child enrolled at BIS
  Bus Fee and Re/Registration Fee are not affected

• Die BIS vergibt Stipendien an Schülern, deren Eltern sich den Besuch der Schule aufgrund der finanziellen Möglichkeiten nicht leisten können.  Die Vorrausetzungen ein Stipendium zu erhalten setzen die Teilnahme an einer Einstufungs-und Leistungsüberprüfung, sowie der Bewertung der bisher erbrachten schulischen Leistungen, sowie Offenlegung der familiären Einkommensverhältnisse voraus und müssen vom Direktor und Verwaltungsleiter genehmigt werden.  Eine erfolgreiche und vor allem nachhaltige Schullaufbahn im englischsprachigen Alltag muss absehbar sein, daher werden die Stipendien jährlich auf schulischen Erfolg und die finanzielle Situation der Eltern überprüft.

• 2.0 OPTIONAL SERVICES

• Charges for testing, exams (IGSCE, IB), fieldtrips and other optional programs will be billed separately.
• Students who choose to take a privately taught First Language (A1 or A2 language) in grades 11 and 12 will be invoiced for an aditional 2800 euros to offset the cost of the private lessons.

• 3.0 PAYMENT DATES

  Re-Registration Fee is due by 15 March 2008. Tuition Fee and Entrance Fee are due by 15 July 2008. Transportation Fee is due on 1 October 2008 (1st semester) and 1 February 2009 (2nd semester). School fees for students joining during the school year are payable in full at the time of acceptance.

• 3.1 Optional payment available for the Tuition Fees

  The Tuition Fee can be paid in 2 instalments; this option includes an additional 3% administrative charge. The first payment (65 % of the Tuition Fee) is due 15 July 2008. The second payment (38 % of the Tuition Fee) is due 15 January 2009.

• 4. PAYMENT

  All payments should be made in euros. Bank transfers should be made payable to the following account:

  If transfer is made from a bank in foreign country, bank charges are to be borne by the person arranging the transfer. To simplify processing of tuition payments, we would appreciate your direct debit authority.

• 5. LATE PAYMENTS

  No child will be admitted to class until all fees covering that period of instruction in accordance with the above procedure have been paid. An interest rate of 1% per month will be charged on overdue balances.

• 6. Association Membership
  

  BIS is a non-profit registered association. Each parent who has a least one child enrolled at the BIS and has paid the required school fees is an ordinary member of the BIS Association, which operates in accordance with its Articles of Association.

• 7. WITHDRAWALS

  The Admissions office must be notified by the parents or guardians in writing at least six weeks in advance to the withdrawal date.

• 8. SIGNATURE AGREEMENT

  By signing the BIS Application for admission or re-admission, the parent or guardian agrees to the above stated terms.
