Believe. Inspire. Succeed.

The purpose of the event on Thursday, 04 May 2017, was to provoke, and according to the buzz at the event and feedback following, it was a great success! Starting with the Key Note by Roger Spindler, which included everyone (80+ guests) participating in a marshmallow challenge, and followed by an interactive panel discussion, the evening inspired thoughts, discussions, and hopefully, ultimately personal actions for the betterment of future learning.

For those who were not able to attend the event, here a few comments from participants:

The quality of the speakers/content, engaged parents and fruitful discussions made this a great evening. Both our kids benefited from our choice to invest in their education at BIS when we moved to Germany in 2008. The purpose, values, teachers and learning environment/approach made a big difference and I am excited to see how to scale the impact of the engaged and committed education you lead at BIS.
It was a very interesting evening and the combination of a keynote and panel where people could engage, provoked people to think. I personally like how you several times linked the IB learner profile to the themes discussed. It made it clear for me that students at BIS are being groomed in a fit-for-the-future environment.

A big thank you to our Key Note speaker, Roger Spindler (Zukunftsinstitut Frankfurt in Bern & Teacher/Board member of the Design College Bern), as well as our panelists, Teodor Milev (Member of Worldwide Education Team, Microsoft), Dr. Laura Marsi (Global Head of HR & Organizational Change at Allianz Technology SE), Felix Müller (Managing Director, Henley Business School), and Dr. phil. Petra Hölscher (Curator of the 'Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum' in the 'Pinakothek der Moderne')

Also thank you to our sponsors - Henley Business School and La Boheme.

Finally, thank you to all in the background, who made the event possible: Thomas Wild – sound and stage, Deussen Kommunikation – speakers, graphics, press releases, and last but not least our Marketing Officer, Johanna Schiller who coordinated every last detail.
